Yemen's Southern Giants Brigades have released fresh combat footage claiming to show drone strikes against Houthi fighters and military positions. The videos reportedly show Falcon drones diving towards Houthi militants, followed by strikes targeting 14.5mm heavy machine guns and sniper platforms. Saudi Arabia issued emergency alerts on Thursday, warning of potential danger in Yanbu, the kingdom's strategically important Red Sea oil export hub, as Houthi attacks continue to raise security concerns across the region. The latest developments come as Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group intensifies attacks on Saudi Arabia, opening another front in the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran. In a major development, the Saudi-led coalition fighting the Houthis in Yemen announced that it had destroyed a missile launched by the group towards Medina, one of Islam's holiest cities. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense issued emergency alerts for Sharurah, a southeastern area bordering Yemen, highlighting growing security concerns along the kingdom's southern frontier. With Yanbu's strategic importance to global oil exports, the latest warnings have heightened concerns over regional security, energy infrastructure and the potential wider consequences of the escalating conflict.
