United States intercepted an Iran-bound cargo vessel in the Gulf of Oman recently. The ship, identified as Touska, was stopped as part of ongoing blockade enforcement in the region. Former US official Nikki Haley has raised concerns about a possible China–Iran link, suggesting the cargo could be connected to missile-related materials. 

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has successfully defused three unexploded MK-84 aircraft bombs in Lorestan province, according to state media reports. The bombs, each weighing around 2000 pounds, are known for their high-impact capability and advanced guidance systems. Officials say the munitions were located and neutralised safely, preventing potential damage. The development comes at a time of heightened tensions between the United States and Iran, with uncertainty surrounding ongoing ceasefire efforts and negotiations.
