At least 26 people have been killed and five injured after Russian airstrikes hit a school being used as an aid distribution centre in Komyshuvakha village, Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region. More than 10 glide bombs were reportedly used in the attack. Among those killed were two emergency rescuers, Denys Konovalenko and Oleksii Sushchevskyi, both aged 44, along with four police officers. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the attack as “utterly horrific” and accused Russian forces of deliberately targeting a known humanitarian site. Ukrainian emergency services also reported a suspected double-tap strike, alleging that rescuers were hit while responding to the initial attack.

A deadly Russian drone strike has devastated a crowded railway station in Ukraine's central city of Dnipro, killing at least 14 people and injuring 14 others, according to Ukrainian officials. The jet-powered drone struck a platform where passenger trains were standing, including a service bound for Zaporizhzhia. Rescue service images showed a massive hole in the platform, a damaged train with shattered windows and bodies at the scene. An 11-year-old boy was among the injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack and called for stronger international sanctions against Moscow.
