South Mumbai to face major water cut on April 22, BMC issues advisory

According to the BMC, the civic body will undertake the installation of two 1500 mm diameter butterfly valves on a key pipeline connected to the Bhandarwada Hill Reservoir tunnel

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a scheduled disruption in water supply across several parts of south Mumbai to facilitate infrastructure work aimed at improving distribution efficiency.
According to the BMC, the civic body will undertake the installation of two 1500 mm diameter butterfly valves on a key pipeline connected to the Bhandarwada Hill Reservoir tunnel. The work will be carried out at Shivdi along Haji Bunder Road in F South ward.
