Mumbai is likely to remain hot on Friday, October 23, with temperatures forecast to reach around 37 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures hovering near 26 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of hot and humid conditions in parts of Maharashtra, although the latest district forecast should be checked to confirm whether a yellow alert remains in force for Mumbai and neighbouring areas on Friday.
The weather comes amid an extended spell of above-normal October temperatures across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Residents may experience uncomfortable conditions, particularly during the afternoon, when temperatures are expected to remain high.
