Mumbai: 10 arrested in online betting racket, 32 mobile phone and 46 ATM cards seized

The Bhoiwada Police in Bhiwandi have arrested 10 people for their alleged involvement in an online betting and financial fraud racket. Officials seized 32 mobile phones, 46 ATM cards, 40 SIM cards, and four laptops during a raid in Mumbai's Aarey Colony area.
According to an official statement, the case was registered on October 17 following a complaint by Naved Javed Shaikh, 28, a driver residing in Bhiwandi, Thane district. The case has been registered under Sections 318(4) and 316(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
