Police declare 27 Mumbai Metro Aqua Line-3 station gates as ‘no parking zones’, issue official order

As Mumbai Metro Aqua Line-3 (Metro 3) becomes fully operational from Cuffe Parade to Aarey Colony, the police have declared permanent 24-hour no-parking zones within 30 metres of all entry/exit gates to prevent congestion, obstructions, and inconvenience to commuters

Mumbai Police on Wednesday issued an official order, declaring all 27 Mumbai Metro Aqua Line-3 station entry and exit gates as a 'no parking zone'.
In an official traffic notification, Mumbai Police said Metro Line-3 (Aqua Line) is fully functional and operational between Cuffe Parade to Aarey colony spanning 33.5 km. It has 27 underground stations and each of it has entry/exit gates at ground level and it has been observed that motor vehicles are parked near these gates causing traffic congestion and obstruction to the commuters and public.
