Maharashtra postpones elementary drawing exams after heavy rains in parts of state

The Government Drawing (Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Grade A) examination papers to be conducted by the Maharashtra State Art Education Board in schools in districts from September 24, 2025 to September 27, 2025 were being postponed, officials said

Following heavy rains in parts Maharashtra, the state has postponed elementary drawing exams, officials said.

The decision was taken keeping in mind the safety of students after the local administration in some districts have declared a holiday for schools in districts witnessing heavy rains.
