Hundreds rescued from Beed, Dharashiv and other adjoining areas after heavy rains lash parts of Maharashtra

According to the NDRF, constant heavy rainfall across several districts of Maharashtra has led to a flood-like situation in some districts of the state. In response to the request by the local administration, teams of the NDRF have been deployed in Beed, Dharashiv, and Solapur districts

Hundreds of stranded residents were rescued by the National Disaster Response Force from Beed, Dharashiv and other adjoining areas after heavy rains lashed parts of state, officials said.

According to the NDRF, constant heavy rainfall across several districts of Maharashtra has led to a flood-like situation in some districts of the state. In response to the request by the local administration, teams of the NDRF have been deployed in Beed, Dharashiv, and Solapur districts under the close supervision of Unit Commandant Santosh Bahadur Singh.
