How many times has it happened that you go on a curated walk and end up with information overload?  Giving the format a tweak, with experimenting and making you look and notice instead of passively receiving information, Ikroop Nijjar, founder of The Listening Club, and Shormistha Mukherjee, author and archivist, known for her Instagram account Houses of Bandra, are coming together to launch The Bombay Pincode, an initiative that brings small groups of people together for informal neighbourhood walks.

The first walk, scheduled for next week, will explore the 400002 pin code, starting at Lord Irwin Bar and Restaurant at Marine Lines before heading towards the neighbourhood’s post office. Moving away from conventional heritage walks, the experience will encourage participants to slow down, notice their surroundings, and interact with local businesses along the way.
