Baseer Ali says ex-girlfriend was ready to convert

Speaking to Film Window, Baseer Ali recalled falling for a woman from a different religious background. He said their relationship eventually reached a point where they had to discuss what their future would look like. “I ended up liking them a lot. She was not a Muslim. I was like, there’s no future, what am I gonna do?” Baseer said. He revealed that his former girlfriend was willing to take the step for their relationship. “That person genuinely said to me, ‘I am ready to do that,’” he recalled. However, Baseer said he asked her to consider her family and the values with which she had been raised. “Maine kaha, yaar, tumhari bhi family hai. Tumhare maa baap ne toh tumko ek tareeke se bada kiya hai,” he said.
