There’s something so romantic and musical about Mumbai. The city just very naturally lends itself to storytelling,” says Anmol Malik, whose latest book, The Secret Eligibles of Mumbai (HarperCollins Publishers India, R499), is all about love, conflict, and chaos and is set in — where else — the City of Dreams.
Malik, 33, who happens to be a cinema lover, vada pav enthusiast, and the daughter of composer, Anu Malik, tells Sunday mid-day the book is a romcom about a house, two sisters, a conman, royalty, Bollywood, and the sea.
