The Vedanta <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-runners-all-set-to-leave-for-the-delhi-half-marathon-to-be-held-on-november-19-18725175" rel="nofollow">Delhi Half Marathon</a> 2026 is scheduled for October 18, featuring its signature World Athletics Gold Label course starting and finishing at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Registration for both in-person and virtual categories opens on July 23.
Organised by Procam International, this iconic road race enters its third decade, boasting a total prize pool of USD 260,000 that draws top international distance runners.
Beyond athletic achievement, the event drives massive socio-economic value. According to the VDHM Socio-Economic-Health Impact Report 2025, produced alongside Miranda House, University of Delhi, the 2025 run created an overall economic impact of INR 433.88 crore. That race welcomed 39,513 participants, including 9,709 women and raised INR 4.12 crore for charity, bringing the two-year cumulative impact to INR 802.74 crore.

<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-blind-runner-getting-ready-to-crack-a-150-23308537" rel="nofollow">The marathon participants</a> on October 18 will enjoy free Delhi Metro travel, custom PUMA Race Day Tees for Half Marathon and Open 10K runners, and finisher medals crafted from zinc sourced at Rajasthan's historic Zawar Mines.
