Nearly after a decade in the NBA, Canadian forward Trey Lyles is heading to Europe. The 29-year-old has signed a one-year contract with Spanish basketball powerhouse Real Madrid, the club announced on Wednesday.

Lyles, who spent the past three-plus seasons with the Sacramento Kings, will now suit up for one of Europe’s most storied franchises. Real Madrid competes in both Spain’s top-tier Liga ACB and the prestigious EuroLeague.
