Jockey Sandesh on a roll after winning five races

Jockey A Sandesh won five races to emerge as top performer on Saturday's seven-race card. All his five winners were well-supported favorites: Seneca (65/100), Ultimo (13/10), Darcy (55/100), Wind Dancer (9/4) & Wings Of Fury (9/10). The ace jockey (who was adjudged champion at Mahalaxmi in April this year) on the basis of runners' up tally after tying for the top slot with P Trevor), is now sitting comfortably at the top of the Pune championship table (26 wins), a street ahead of his nearest rival, apprentice A Waydande (13).
