<p>Champions Training Centre (CTC), led by skilful Olympian Devindar Walmiki, beat Mumbai Port Authority 2-1 to emerge men&rsquo;s champions of the St Peter&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/amp/sports/other-sports/article/joe-fernandis-memorial-hockey-mira-road-suffers-defeat-against-champions-training-centre-23557686" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>hockey</strong></a> tournament at Bandra recently.<p>


<p>Walmiki &nbsp;scored the opening goal for CTC while Raj Patil added the second. For Mumbai Port Authority, Navin Karketa pulled a goal back.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the elite women&rsquo;s final, Union Bank (UBI) got the better of Western Railway (WR) 4-2 via shootout. Yahiska MG opened the scoring for UBI before Priyanka Sihag netted the equaliser for WR to take the game into the shootout. In the tie-breaker, Nikita Toppo, Jiwan Kishori and Akanksha Singh scored for UBI while only Priyanka W could convert for WR.</p><p>
