Cabo Verde's Vonzinha, who came into the limelight during the concluded FIFA World Cup 2026, will be allowed to display his nickname on his Chilean football jersey. His full name is Josimar Jose Evora Dias.

The nod was given on Friday by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, which governs Chile's Primera Division. The decision required a change in the league's regulations. Earlier, players could only have their surnames on their jerseys.
