Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres believes they can finally put an end to their English <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/english-premier-league-arne-slot-speaks-about-liverpool-2-1-victory-over-tottenham-hotspur-23608797" rel="nofollow">Premier League</a> title drought that has spanned 21 years.
The Gunners last clinched the English top flight trophy in the 2003-04 season, in the last three campaigns they finished runners-up, falling short in the second half of the season, but Gyokeres reckons they&rsquo;ll go the distance this time.
<h2>Optimism all around</h2>
&ldquo;We are all optimistic. I believe the team has a strong spirit and a positive atmosphere at the training ground. It is important to maintain that energy, keep doing the things that are working well, and continue improving together every day. Right now, we are focusing on winning the upcoming games rather than thinking too much about the end goals, &ldquo; <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/english-premier-league-liverpool-eye-hot-spurt-23608590" rel="nofollow">Gyokeres</a> said in an interview.

Arsenal are currently leading the EPL table with 39 points, with Manchester City &nbsp;two points behind them.
The Sweden international also hailed manager Mikel Arteta&rsquo;s tactics and man management, which has gone a long way in putting <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/margin-should-have-been-bigger-arsenal-boss-mikel-arteta-on-nervy-1-0-win-over-everton-23608796" rel="nofollow">Arsenal</a> on the path to success.
