<p>Tottenham Hotspur and England international Conor Gallagher, 26, did not make the cut for the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/fifa-world-cup-2026-john-mcginn-serves-up-victory-tonic-for-scotland-23635185" rel="nofollow"><strong>FIFA World Cup</strong></a> squad, but the time off has given him the chance to get engaged to long-time girlfriend Aine Kennedy, during a romantic vacation in Mallorca.</p>
<p>Gallagher, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 and also played for Atletico Madrid, Instagrammed a series of pictures of the newly engaged couple and captioned the post: &ldquo;Here&rsquo;s to forever.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Kennedy also posted a video of the proposal, which was done at a five star hotel, overlooking a lush, green valley with the sea glinting in the distance, while the couple were serenaded by violinists amid lovely floral arrangements.</p>
<p>Hailing from Ireland, Kennedy is a model and professional dancer. The couple has been dating for eight years, from the time Gallagher was at <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/english-premier-league-we-want-to-show-what-we-re-capable-of-chelsea-boss-liam-rosenior-23625299" rel="nofollow"><strong>Chelsea</strong></a>&rsquo;s academy.</p>
