The mega clash of the IPL 2026 between arch-rivals, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), is all set to be played on Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai

Ahead of the match, MI's lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah is all set to join the likes of legendary slinger Lasith Malinga in the history of the Mumbai-based franchise

So far in 154 appearances for the franchise, Bumrah has picked up 187 wickets and is just three wickets shy of completing his tally of 190 scalps

Before him, only Malinga has achieved the feat in MI's history. He concluded his IPL career with 195 wickets in 139 games

It will be interesting to see if Bumrah manages to become the second bowler to accomplish the feat tonight in Mumbai
