Organisers of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 have issued an official clarification regarding a viral video circulating on social media, which falsely suggests that players from the India Champions side walked off the field upon seeing members of the Pakistan Champions team during a semifinal match.

WCL officials confirmed that the video in question has been taken out of context, clarifying that the footage was actually recorded during the group-stage fixtures when India Champions were preparing to take the field against West Indies Champions, while Pakistan Champions were exiting after their earlier match against Australia Champions on the same day.
