Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's father says, ‘Vaibhav is a 90 per cent student, but his priority is cricket now’

Fourteen-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has decided to skip his Class 10 CBSE examinations this year to prioritise his rapidly rising cricket career, according to his father. At just 14, prolific batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a household name in Indian cricket. So anything he does, or for that matter, doesn’t do, becomes news.   
Lately, Sooryavanshi was in the news in the build-up to the Class 10 CBSE examinations which he was supposed to appear for. However, in a bold move, the young top-order batter, has now decided to skip the exams this year to focus on his cricketing journey.
