T20 World Cup | Pakistan-based extremist group issues threat to West Indies cricket board: Report

The T20 World Cup 2024 which will be hosted by the USA and the West Indies has received a terror threat. Trinidad's Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has asserted that "extra effort in national security preparations and response readiness" will be taken in to neutralise the danger ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.

The mega event consisting of 20 teams including India will be in action on June 1. According to media reports, the threat is only to the West Indies. The WI will be hosting the entire Super 8 stage and also the semi-finals and finals on June 29.
