Sri Lanka's Dhammika Prasad retires from international cricket

"I have decided to continue playing domestic cricket and already I have played for 19 years for the SSC giving my best," added Prasad.

Sri Lanka's Dhammika Prasad has retired from international cricket. Prasad, 37, last played for Sri Lanka in a Test match against the West Indies in October 2014.

"I think this is the correct time for me to retire from International cricket and provide a chance to the youngsters," Prasad told Sri Lanka's "Daily News" on Thursday.
