Following a dramatic victory in the series opener at Christchurch, Indian all-rounder Naman Dhir opened up about his crucial mid-pitch discussions with skipper Shreyas Iyer, adding the importance of remaining calm and executing standard cricketing strokes during a tense run-chase of 226.

With India struggling at 166/5, a partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Naman brought the visitors to the brink of victory. After Shreyas was dismissed, Naman unleashed a blistering unbeaten 42 off 15 balls, smashing five boundaries and two sixes to seal India's highest-ever T20I chase with two balls remaining.
