IPL 2026: Venues for two GT-CSK fixtures swapped due to municipal corporation elections

The decision was taken considering the dates of municipal corporation elections in Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat, which are scheduled on April 26, 2026

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the revision in the schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 matches between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The match between GT and CSK, scheduled for April 26, has been moved from Ahmedabad to Chennai. Later, the match between these teams on May 21 will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
