The Rajasthan Royals got off to a steady start but were pegged back by the Lucknow Super Giants by the end of the powerplay. LSG’s pace duo of Mohammed Shami and Mohsin Khan dominated with the ball, reducing RR to 44/3 after six overs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal got off to a flying start, scoring 22 runs off 12 balls, but the left-hander was soon dismissed by Shami. On the very next delivery, Dhruv Jurel was also sent back, leaving RR in trouble during the powerplay.
