Mumbai Indians opener Ryan Rickelton hammered a 55-ball 123 not out (10x4s, 8x6s) to help the hosts post a mammoth 243-5 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.

Incidentally, exactly a month back, Rickleton had missed his century at the same ground by just 19 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders. This time though, there was no scope for error as he raced from 89 to 99 with a four and a six off Nitish Kumar Reddy and then took a single to reach three figures. The South African wicketkeeper-batter, who took 23 balls to get his first 50 with the help of five fours and four sixes, needed just 21 balls for his second 50. Rickleton and opening partner Will Jacks (22-ball 46) helped MI post a whopping 78 without loss in the Powerplay.
