Sri Lanka's star spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has been ruled out of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to an injury. He was slated to play for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Earlier, the Sri Lankan national sustained a hamstring injury in February, and he has not yet recovered from it. The Lucknow-based franchise is expected to announce a replacement for the remainder of the cash-rich league.
