Team India is all set to lock horns with Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series. Ahead of the series, Team India's lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been cleared to make his appearance against Sri Lanka by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

Earlier, he was included in the squad, subject to fitness clearance. He suffered an impact injury during the concluded ODI series against England. Following the injury, he had to sit out of the third ODI match at the Lord's Cricket Ground in the City of Westminster.
