In the second ODI match against South Africa, Team India stalwart Virat Kohli played a stunning knock of 135 runs off 120 deliveries. His knock was laced with 11 boundaries and seven maximums.

With this, he broke the record of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar for the player with the most centuries in a single format. Tendulkar has 51 centuries in the longest format of the game. With his 52nd ODI century, Virat has surpassed Tendulkar to become the player with the most centuries in a single format of the game.
