Ireland batting all-rounder Gareth Delany has no hesitation in admitting that the Shreyas Iyer-led Indian team will be a tough side to beat in the first of two T20Is at Belfast on Friday.

“They [India] are a strong all-round [team], aren’t they? They have a lot of powerful and destructive batters. And then, on the bowling front, they’ve some very good spinners and good pace bowlers too. They’re a very strong side. So, it’s hard to pinpoint one area in particular. But I guess if we can contain the batting, then we back ourselves to stay in the game with the bat,” Delany told mid-day during an interaction organised by Sony Sports Network on Thursday.
