After Team India’s iconic victory at The Oval, the five-match Test series against England ended in a 2-2 draw.

With the series resulting in a draw, each team’s head coach selected one player from the opposition for the Player of the Series award.

England head coach Brendon McCullum picked Indian skipper Shubman Gill, whereas the visitors’ head coach Gautam Gambhir chose Harry Brook ahead of star performers Joe Root and Ben Stokes.
