Rishabh Pant sustained an injury in India's first innings of the fourth Test match. In Chris Woakes' over, the left-hander got a hit on his foot by a yorker. Ahead of the fifth Test match, Team India has named N Jagadeesan as Pant's replacement

Former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly heaped praise on Rishabh Pant for showcasing grit despite sustaining an injury on his foot.
Following the injury, Pant was ruled out of the fifth and final Test match.
Speaking about Pant's injury, Ganguly said it will take time to recover, but he had batted brilliantly.
