As Day 1 of the third Test match between India and England concluded, Team India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy on Thursday said that the side will receive an update on Rishabh Pant's injury by the next morning.

"To be honest, I just came out of the field and I do not know anything about it, but since I did not hear anything from anyone, we will get to know tomorrow morning before we go back," he said.

During the match, Pant left the field after sustaining an injury on his finger while keeping behind the stumps. Following his injury, Dhruv Jurel donned the 'Big Gloves'. In the 34th over, which was being bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, Pant dived to pick the ball, but could not manage to get it cleanly in his hands.
