The Team India head coach added that Gill has passed the toughest test during the Test series against England in tough conditions. He also said that it is important to heap praise on the team, which has responded well to his captaincy

After concluding the two-match Test series against the West Indies, Team India will clash against Australia for the white-ball series.
Both teams will engage in three ODIs and five T20I games against each other. Ahead of the ODI series, Rohit Sharma was replaced by Shubman Gill for the role of captaincy for the 50-over format.
