Team India is all set to clash against Afghanistan in the first of the three ODI matches. The first game between both teams will be played on Saturday at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.

Ahead of the match, the "Men in Blue" will miss out on the services of star batsman Virat Kohli, who has been ruled out of the entire series due to an injury. Speaking about his absence, Team India's bowling coach Morne Morkel labelled it as a "big miss". He also said that Kohli's absence will provide another player with an opportunity to prove himself in the series.
