'Huge achievement': Cricket fraternity hails Rohit Sharma as Wankhede stand gets named after him

Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the longest format of the game. The right-hander concluded his Test career after playing 67 matches for India. He also scored 4,301 runs, including 12 centuries and 18 half-centuries

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma received heartfelt tributes from his teammates after a stand has been named after him at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Rohit represents Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025. The Mumbai-based franchise shared a video on their official social media handle in which the cricketers were seen extending wishes to the 38-year-old.
