Hockey association demands 15 lakh from MCA

The MCA has agreed to pay the amount. MCA will shell out close to Rs 70 lakh for using the Mumbai University ground near the Wankhede

The adjoining Mumbai Hockey Association (MHA) has demanded Rs 15 lakh from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) for using their premises during the 20 IPL matches played at the Wankhede Stadium. 

MCA secretary Sanjay Naik told Apex Council members in an email: “As you are aware the Mumbai Hockey Association provides its premises for the parking of vehicles and entry from Gate No.7 during all international and IPL matches played at the Wankhede Stadium."
