On September 24 in 2007, the "Men in Blue" had defeated arch-rivals Pakistan to lift the T20 World Cup title at Johannesburg. Irfan Pathan, who was the 'Man of the Match' in the final game, said that defeating Pakistan on a regular basis started from that match.
