Australia's premier all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell, has announced his retirement from the One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

While speaking on a 'Final Word Podcast', the all-rounder stated that he conducted a chat with George Bailey and stated that he won't be available for the ODI World Cup 2027.

"We talked about the 2027 World Cup and I said to him 'I don't think I am going to make that, it's time to start planning for people in my position to have a crack at it and make the position their own'," said Maxwell.
