Panic gripped Dubai after a series of powerful explosions struck the Jebel Ali industrial area, with at least seven blasts reported within just 20 minutes. Thick black smoke was seen rising over the strategic port area as emergency teams rushed to contain the fire. The UAE has confirmed the explosions but has not identified the cause. Unconfirmed regional reports have linked the incident to a possible Houthi missile or drone attack, while others suggest an industrial accident. Authorities have not verified either claim and say the investigation is ongoing.

Parliament witnessed another stormy day during the Monsoon Session as the alleged Ram Temple donation issue triggered heated exchanges in the Rajya Sabha. Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge questioned the government over the alleged donation theft issue and asked where investigative agencies such as the ED, CBI and Income Tax Department were. His remarks sparked loud protests from NDA MPs, forcing a brief adjournment of the House. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju hit back, demanding an apology from the Opposition and accusing it of disrupting Parliament instead of participating in debates on key legislation.
