Airoli-Kalwa Elevated Suburban Corridor has achieved 45 per cent progress, with Phase-I completed and Phase-II delayed due to pending land acquisition and rehabilitation. Of the required 2.40 hectares, 1.87 hectares of government land has been acquired, while 0.53 hectares of private land remains

The project, sanctioned at a cost of Rs 1,510 crore, is a major capacity augmentation project on Central Railway and is targeted for completion in 2028. Significant progress has been achieved across the corridor, MRVC said
