A drive home with his two children after school turned into a 20-minute confrontation for a Goregaon resident when a two-wheeler rider allegedly accused him of running over his foot and demanded money for medical treatment. The motorist, Shukla, says he eventually paid Rs 1000 to end the dispute and spare his children further distress. Suspecting an extortion attempt, he shared his experience on X to warn other Mumbaikars, prompting several users to recount similar encounters.
