Tiger Shroff firing incident takes a major turn, with Delhi Police Special Cell reportedly arresting four suspects, including two women. Investigators are probing an alleged weapons supply network and claims that the shooters surveyed several Bollywood celebrities' residences before the attack. According to reports, the weapons were allegedly obtained through a “dead letter box” — a pre-arranged location where items are left for collection — with the stash reportedly traced to Amritsar. Investigators are also examining claims that the suspects visited the homes of Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar. Sources cited in reports suggest the attackers may have been instructed to target celebrities with comparatively lighter security. These allegations remain part of the ongoing investigation.

India has strongly rejected references to Jammu and Kashmir and Islamophobia in resolutions adopted at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Baghdad on October 17–18. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) called the references “malicious, biased, and false” and accused Pakistan of using the 57-member bloc to advance its agenda against India. New Delhi reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India. The MEA also highlighted post-Article 370 development, citing infrastructure growth, tourism and improved connectivity. India further urged Pakistan to vacate territories under its occupation and stop supporting cross-border terrorism. It also rejected the OIC's references related to Islamophobia and criticised the organisation's position on Kashmir.
