A terrifying mid-air scare unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir after the famous Gulmarg Gondola suddenly came to a halt due to a technical fault, leaving nearly 300 tourists stranded inside suspended cabins. Panic spread quickly among visitors, including women and children, as the cable car system stopped unexpectedly high above the ground. The incident triggered a massive rescue operation involving the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, civil administration and emergency teams. Videos from the site showed anxious tourists waiting inside swaying cabins while rescue personnel coordinated evacuation efforts.

Thanks to the Youth Service and Sports Department that has organized the course, women from all ages were seen learning the adventure sport in the scenic landscape. This course is aimed to make the adventure sport of Skiing more gender inclusive and empower women.
