Donald Trump has blasted NATO yet again, accusing the alliance of failing to support the United States during the Iran conflict. In a series of fiery posts, Trump warned that allies who did not back Washington could face consequences, raising fears of a potential US exit from NATO. The White House has also discussed plans to punish “unhelpful” NATO members by moving American troops out of their countries. Around 84,000 US troops are currently stationed across Europe, and any redeployment could dramatically reshape the alliance’s security structure.
