Berlin is reeling after a deadly attack near the city's LGBTQIA+ Pride celebrations, where a minivan allegedly rammed into pedestrians, leaving one person dead and 29 others injured before the suspect was fatally shot by German police. According to authorities, the 21-year-old suspect allegedly crashed into crowds near the Pride event before emerging from the vehicle armed with a bladed weapon. Police confronted the suspect at the Spandau Garden Complex, where officers opened fire after what they described as a knife charge during the operation. Earlier, German authorities had identified the suspect and appealed to the public for information before the deadly confrontation came to an end.
