Built by the Uzmar shipyard in Turkey, Svitzer Balder is the first battery-methanol harbor tug ever built.&nbsp;
It is equipped with a six megawatt-hour battery and can perform 90 per cent of towing and docking operations using battery-electric power alone.&nbsp;
It can operate in the harbor and near-open sea conditions.
