US strikes Iran’s southern coast as Tehran targets American bases across region

Iranian media confirmed several hits near the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic chokepoint where Tehran has threatened to block unauthorized tankers

A massive exchange of fire between Tehran and Washington on Wednesday plunged Iran and its Arab neighbors back into war, marking their heaviest clash since July as US forces pounded Iran’s southern coast and Iran targeted American bases across the region.

Washington warned of even more devastating strikes to follow. Meanwhile, Iranian officials accused the US of bombing a wedding party, leaving five dead and dozens wounded.
